Administration and Gyeonggido

methods, practical guidelines were
produced on a working level for
security related professionals. In
addition, this was considered an
excellent opportunity to compare
information protection solutions
and to experience them directly
in line with the launch of the
e-government projects. Security
buyers from government offices
and public institutions participat-
ed as a joint sponsor for this event
and participated in large numbers
to attend lectures on various secu-

on the many issues that may arise
when adopting different security

Active security end users
During the e-Government Infor-
The International
Security Conference &
Expo 2014 and the e-Government
Information Security Solution Fair
2014 was hosted whilst the atten-
tion of all the Koreans was firmly
fixed on security issues. This was
due to the continuous information
leakage from the website for the
doctors' association, KT, TMON
and three telecommunications
companies. As a result these shows
provided a target of immense in-
terest for visitors as they were able
to experience everything about
security, ranging from information
leakage prevention solutions to
video image security systems all on
one site.
Secon 2014 is Korea's only
specialised integrated security
exhibition where visitors can ex-
perience all kinds of solutions for
achieving a safer society and for
ensuring a secure digital everyday
life with information protection
solutions, video image security
systems, access control systems
and measures to protect personal
information plus visitors were able
to experience anti-terrorism equip-
ment and intelligent traffic safety
systems.
