This year the cup was played in a
straight series where all teams played
each other once. The winner Merit
Lilin started out against the runners
up, and last year's winner, Raytec in
a game that ended 11. In the first
round, AR Media managed to beat
Videotec by 50. That victory, was
however short lived as it was soon
followed by a 40 defeat against
Merit Lillin. Merit Lilin continued
on a winning streak, declaring vic-
tory in all their games with a final
score of 13 points. AR Media also
managed to beat Hikvision, but lost
the other three games.
Raytec came in second with 11
points. Except for the draw against
Merit Lilin they also lost important
points against Sonic Communica-
tions in a game that ended 22.
Hikvision's only win came quickly
in the first round against Sonic, and
Videotec's only point was taken in
the second round against Hikvision
in their 11 game.

winners with 19 scored goals and
only two conceded. Raytec scored
17 goals while conceding 6.

When the 15 rainy games were
finished all the players were ready
to welcome a warm shower. The
night was rounded off with some
fun, some food and a prize cer-

everyone back to an even rainier

Worthy winners:
Merit Lilin received
the first prize. Here we see Andy Jackson,
Steve Liddiard, Scott Stephenson (with a
background as a Chelsea academy player
and England national under-21 football
team) and Ian Leroux.
Last years winners Raytec had to settle
with second place this year, but everyone
still had smiles on their faces. In the
middle is David Lambert together with
Shaun Cutler on the far right, flanking

Security in focus at the Nordea Masters 2013 in Sweden
The security industry was for the second consecutive
year represented at a pavilion at the golf course Bro
Hof Slott GC during the Nordea Masters golf tourna-
ment in Sweden at the end of May. The pavilion was
located next to the fairway and security people could
enjoy a perfect view of the green at hole 18.
The Nordea Masters, formerly
known as the Scandinavian Masters,
was played for the first time in 1991
and is one of the most prestigious
tournaments on the PGA European
Tour. It is one of most visited tour-
naments on the tour, only surpassed
by the British Open.
It was the Swedish companies
Rapid, Safetel and AR Media who
 as tournament sponsors were
hosts for the Security pavilion this
year.
Almost 300 security people
from installers to integrators and
end users visited the Security
pavilion at the Nordea Masters.
They were able to see world class
golf first hand, that ended with a
Finnish victory through Mikko
Ilonen who won the tournament
for the second time.
"The interest in golf is big
within the industry, and that was
confirmed by this event. People
from all over the industry visited
the pavilion and we got the chance
to offer great golf, food and drinks
and perhaps most importantly a
chance for networking," says Mats
B Adman, head of Rapid.
Next year the Nordea Masters
will be played at Bro Hof 4th-7th
of June, and the security pavilion is
likely to return for the event, mean-
ing that the industry yet again can
gather and enjoy world class golf.
The most popular player at the Nordea
Masters was without a doubt the bohe-
mian Spaniard Miguel Angel Jiménez,
here with Deniz Baykal from AR Media
International.
Almost 300 security people visited the
Security pavilion and its sunny stand at
hole 18.
