Sarix TI is a fully integrated IP
and analogue thermal imaging
security camera ideally suited for
a wide array of low-light and no-
light environments. The alumin-
ium camera comes in 640x480,
384x288 and 240x184 resolution
pan/tilt models, has multiple lens
options and has built in analytics
which can regognise a vehicle on
distances of up to 1.9 kilometres.
Sarix TI is also a powerful tool
for applications beyond secu-
rity providing the capability to
instantly spots leaks, ruptures, or
hot spots across bridges, dams,
refineries, and power plants.

The 720p box/dome camera
Starlight is specifically designed
for high performance in extreme
low-light conditions. With high
sensitivity in both colour (0.017
lux) and monochrome modes
(0.0057 lux), the 60 fps HD
camera works with minimal ambi-
ent light. The Starlight camera
comes with Content Based Imag-
ing Technology (CBIT) which
dynamically optimises the image
for every scene and intelligent
noise reduction technology which
reduces storage requirements by
up to 30%. With Bosch Dynamic
Transcoding Technology, HD
quality images can be viewed from
any location that has access to
the internet, even if the available
bandwidth is only 128 kBit/s.

The Synergis Master Controller
(SMC) is an intelligent IP control-
ler edge device that can be physi-
cally installed and enrolled within
the access control solution. The
non-proprietary SMC control-
ler allows users to migrate to an
IP-based access control solution,
while leveraging their networking
infrastructure and existing equip-
ment. The SNC is a key compo-

the nomination is conducted by
the editorial board of Detektor.
This selection criteria is the main
reason why it has become one of
the most prestigious awards in the
global security market. The jury
consists of members of the edito-
rial board of Detektor from three
continents.
The criteria for a product to
be nominated for a Detektor
International Award encompasses
not only the technical solution
but also the packaging and over all
presentation of the product, which
actually could equally as well be a
service.
The twelve nominated finalist
products have been chosen on
the basis of both innovation and
customer orientation. Winning
products need to be smart as well
as useful. Products are divided
into the following three categories:
the Access Control category, the
Alarm & Detection category and
the CCTV category.
The overall winner in each
category will receive the award for
"Best Product", the second will
receive the "Highly Commended
Award" distinction and third place
will be presented with the diploma
for "Innovative Achievement
Award".

The nominated CCTV products

Company: Axis Communications
The Axis P5414-E is an out-
door wall mounted PTZ dome
camera. With an intelligent
direct drive pan/tilt system
which means no mechanical
parts such as belts or gears it
has a great mechanical endur-
ance. It also features HDTV
720p imaging and 18x optical
zoom, day/night functional-
ity and intelligent video, two
way audio and a memory card
slot. The built-in wall bracket
eliminates the need to pur-
chase a separate mounting ac-
cessory. The P5414-E also has
an integrated sunshield that
is designed for easy removal,
allowing customers to repaint
it to match the installation
environment.

The outdoor 360° PTZ dome
camera SNC-WR632 features
Sony's latest Ipela Engine
technology: Ipela Engine Pro
and comes with 130db of
wide dynamic range. It deliv-
ers 60 fps, image stabilisation
to reduce the effect of vibra-
tion in severe weather condi-
tions and when installed near
roads or bridges, a pan speed
of 700°/s. and defog mode
which increases the clarity
of the image in fog or smog.
The SNC-WR632 also
supports day/night func-
tionality and offers full HD
resolution and intelligent
video analytics.
