Asia is in pole position
It is certainly good timing to choose this last issue of Detektor International for 2011 to focus on the Asian security product market as the security exhibition CPSE in Shenzhen once again proved the power of the Asian manufacturers in general and the Chinese manufacturers in particular.
1,500 exhibitors and far more than 50,000 visitors gathered over the four days.
It was very impressive.
Business Outlook
The Chinese market drives global security growth
The Chinese electronic security (excluding the value add and service market) product market was valued at 4.3 billion US dollars in 2010. As many Asian security companies are growing rapidly, their impact on the global market is increasing. Detektor has met up some of Asias biggest players to discuss their business outlook.

The Detektor International Award ceremony was held at the Sectech-dinner at the Rica Talk Hotel in Stockholm on the 18th of October. The twelve products awarded as finalists were chosen on the basis of both innovation and customer orientation.
